It’s been a long 4 months since we were able to open our doors and welcome you to The Oatlands. We hope you’ve all been keeping well during Lockdown and are now ready to enjoy meeting all your friends for a drink and a catch-up.
As a phased re-opening, we have decided to open the club at the following times only until further notice:
Friday 4 – 11.30pm
Saturday 2 – 11pm
Sunday 2 – 9pm
The committee has worked hard to try and make visiting The Oatlands as safe as possible. We’ve introduced a one-way system, entering and exiting via the main doors on Hookstone Road. On entering, please turn left into the concert room where you will see a hand sanitizing station.
On ordering your drink, you will be required to provide your name and a contact number to Kate to comply with the Track & Trace’ system. After paying for your drinks, you are free to sit in either the concert room, the bar, the lounge or the snug – all of which have been laid out to maintain proper social distancing.
To keep a smooth flow within the club, drinks can only be ordered in the concert room so if you choose to sit in the bar or lounge, you will need to walk clockwise through the club to enter the concert room again. The only toilets available to members are the ones in the concert room.
We appreciate that no-one enjoys following strict rules but we hope that, with everyone’s cooperation, we can all enjoy visiting The Oatlands again. Please try to help us keep the club open as we know that the local council are likely to pay us a visit to ensure we are doing things correctly.
